Charlene Hughes has been in the administrative support sector for over 15 yrs. Having held positions in the medical and business fields, Charlene can fluidly adjust her skills to complete various tasks in a timely manner. Serving as BE2T administrative support and first point of contact ,Charlene manages calendars makes travel, meeting/event arrangement, and customer relations with a smile.

In Addition to her duties as an executive assistant, Charlene is a mother of 2 girls, a student at Delgado Community College and an advocate for Autism Awareness and Acceptance.


Kelly Harris

Site Manager - New Orleans

“I only had two black males teachers from K-12, I want to help create a different reality for my daughter.”
Raised by an entrepreneur mother and an art teacher father, Kelly knows how to hustle with grit and creativity. Kelly blends her business skills with creative vision.
Her diverse professional portfolio includes strategic planning, curator, publicist, editor, media manager to professor.
Nicknamed by some colleagues as “the quiet giant,” Kelly is the behind-the scenes-visionary who brings a wealth of skills and motherhood swag to the BE2T vision.
Literacy is an important education issue for Kelly. She taught her daughter to read by age 2. For years, Kelly has been a champion for reading and is a trained family literacy coordinator. She served 5 years on the board of S.T.A.I.R  NOLA (Start the Adventure in Reading) and is currently an executive board member of Big Class, a New Orleans non-profit for youth creative writers.
