THE FELLOWSHIP
Our primary program is our undergraduate fellowship. Our focus remains on developing and empowering men of color, predominantly Black men, through early exposure to teaching and targeted experiences cultivating an organic love of teaching.
YEAR 1 - The Intro
Fellows are introduced to Brothers Empowered to Teach, our work and impact, growth-focused personal and professional development, and light educator experience via after-school programs.
YEAR 2 - The Interlude
Fellows build on year 1 with additional professional development component focused on childhood development and culturally relevant teaching practices in addition to progressing to in school educator experience.
YEAR 3 - The Outro
Fellows prepare for post-graduation with targeted professional and personal development, school tours, and exclusive access too job opportunities with our K-12 partners in addition to their in-school educator experience.
Fellows entering as Juniors will combine the Year 2 & 3 tracks into their second & final year.
Fellow Criteria

Identify as a Black Male or Woman

Currently enrolled full-time in undergraduate program entering upcoming year as a Sophomore or Junior

GPA: 2.5
